EDITO FRED LEWIN

It is with great joy and heartfelt excitement that we welcome you to this new edition of the reLOVution Gospel Festival!

For three years now, each year has been dedicated to preparing this moment and opening our arms to you. Three years of growth, of faith, of perseverance — and no two editions have ever been the same.
The reLOVution Gospel Festival is a journey built over time.

Every season of preparation brings its own challenges, surprises, and lessons. But each twist along the way helps us grow stronger, wiser, and more united.

This year, the energy is especially powerful: over 600 singers are gathered for this third edition!
We are blessed to welcome participants from all around the world, with 12 countries represented, while also celebrating the growing presence of local choirs and singers.

I am grateful that Le Cap d’Agde and Montpellier can host such beautiful diversity, and I am deeply proud of the commitment of our local Gospel community to this adventure.

All year long, this festival has been carried by faithful and precious support.

So many people have encouraged us, prayed for this project, and stood by the organizing teams during moments of exhaustion, doubt, and logistical challenges. Their quiet presence has been essential.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has carried this vision month after month.

Thank you to our institutional and private partners: the City and Tourist Office of Cap d’Agde, Montpellier Méditerranée Tourisme, Hoperadio, Art’monie Impuls, and Lemma Services. Your support goes far beyond finances — each of you has poured heart and purpose into this collective journey.

Thank you to Kurt Carr and his team for their faithful trust from day one.

Thank you to Willy Lehmann, our production director, for his tireless dedication throughout the year.

Thank you to Guitou and Hyacinthe for stepping up with energy, humility, and servant hearts.

Thank you to the board of the GN/AS Gospel Project, who continue — often behind the scenes — to carry this vision and trust me even in times of uncertainty.

Thank you to the GN/AS Gospel Choir for your passion, commitment, and joy in preparing this edition.

Thank you to all our volunteers — more than 60 this year — for your time, your energy, and your kindness to every single person.

And I especially thank Mathilde, my partner, who has walked with me through doubts, questions, discouraging days, and sleepless nights. Without her, this journey would not be possible.

Now, it’s time to live this third edition — fully.

Soak in every song.
Embrace every connection.
Feel every emotion.

Then carry it back into your communities, so that what we experience here may shine far beyond this festival.

Be hospitable to one another without complaining.”, the scriptures say.

Let us welcome one another and come together in one spirit of love, through the gospel songs that Kurt and I are honored to share with you.

May you all have a beautiful, powerful, and unforgettable festival.
